Siddons Solarstream heat pump water heaters come in convenient sizes to suit your lifestyle. All models are environmentally friendly and eligible for claiming Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).

Glass Lined Steel Tanks

Glass lined steel tank versions of Siddons Solarstream Heat Pump Water Heaters are specifically designed for mineralised water. The wrap around condenser coil on the outside of the tank wall reduces problems with calcium build-up and other minerals in the water that become active at high temperatures.

Siddons Solarstream’s condenser coil delivers superior tank water stratification separating the hot water to the top and cold water to the bottom so you get hot water, not warm water. The condenser coil generates heat to the whole of the tank wall with excellent conduction through the tank wall rather than sharp concentrated heat inside the tank that attracts mineral build-up and retards heat transfer over time.

The heat pump has a larger evaporator and more powerful compressor to deliver better cold temperature performance and excellent heat recovery in all conditions without a backup element. There are four models available, 165, 261, 326 or 417 litres. The SMBD models use a proven fluorocarbon gas whilst the SMCD models use a new ozone friendly hydrocarbon gas.

Depending on your usage; we can combine 2 or more of our standard heat pumps models to handle your commercial, sporting or community hot water requirements.
